As I am writing this post… I realized that I am definitely an all or nothing kind of girl when it comes to what’s in my bag – or if I carry one at all. You can either find me walking around with my giant tote – filled with anything and everything I could possibly need OR you will find me walking around looking empty-handed with a small “business card holder” in my jacket pocket. There is either going to be a pen in every color – or not one in sight… you get the idea. On most days – especially the work days – you will find me walking around with my giant tote in hand.
Michael Kors tote. I bought this bag a couple years ago as a gift to myself for getting a full-time job after working in the restaurant biz for seven years. I have switched out multiple times but always find my way back to my classic black MK tote.
In the Bag
My Blog Planner is the Erin Condren Deluxe Monthly Planner. I carry this around in case I get ideas or decide to dedicate my lunch break to the blog.
I currently have the IPhone 6 – patiently waiting for my upgrade in April. I have seen people’s photos from the 7/7Plus and I am really excited to have one in my hands.
I bought this Michael Kors business card holder when I first got my full-time job. I attend a fair amount of Networking events and like to have business cards on hand. When I am not at the events – I will sometimes add my drivers license and debit card and stick it in my pocket to shop.
Zip Coin Purse Target
Until about a month ago – I used a LuLuLemon Gift Card holder to keep my change in – or let’s be real… it was sitting on the bottom of my bag. Target had a cute blush zip coin purse for under $10 and I finally made the leap to purchase one.
Pens – Either 27 or 0
I wish I had a more organized way to keep pens in my purse. Every time I come up with something – I always end up taking the little bag out at home to use and never put it back in. So for now – there are either 27 pens in my bag… or none.
I have some form of chapstick everywhere… two on my desk, in my car, on my nightstand – If I can’t find a chapstick, someone must be playing a joke on me. I have really dry lips – especially in the Minnesota winter – and need to have chapstick with me all the time. I also keep a staple lipgloss and lipstick along too.
Sunglasses + Case
Chargers – Cell Phone, Computer and Headphones.
Depending on how long I plan to be gone – this bag has plenty of room for my watch charger as well. With blogging, social media, checking emails and the standard group message – I tend to lose juice pretty quickly. This little bag from ThirtyOne Gifts has plenty of room to store all the cords and my charging bank. #lifeofamillennial
My Macbook Pro is added as needed. Living 35 minutes out of town – sometimes you do not know how long you are going to be gone. If I feel like I might have a little bit of extra time, I will bring my computer along.
Do you carry a small purse or do you fit in to the large satchel club like me? Is there anything you can’t leave the house without?
