Now that Nate and I have a house, we have way more rooms and areas that need decor and styling. If Nate had his way – every tabletop, countertop and nightstand in our house would have absolutely nothing on it. What he calls clutter – I call decor. Styling end tables is something I have been looking into for a while. I am excited to share how I have styled a couple of tables in our house!
End tables are made to be functional – but ours were just boring. Other than lamps (that didn’t get light bulbs in them until we had them for three months), an abundance of chargers and way too many bottles of water – our tables had nothing on them.
I also had to take into consideration that if I didn’t somewhat style Nate’s table to his liking – he would have all of the stuff in a closet by the end of the weekend. Good thing I am doing all of this during the week while he is gone at work. 🙂
From my research – aka Pinterest – most end tables have art, books, plants and lamps to start. Add in a mixture of heights and textures and voilà – styled end table. I played around with all of the placement and tried to make sure it wasn’t too cluttered.

- Small plant
I kept it pretty simple in our bedroom because I know that in reality – we are going to have water bottles and chargers taking over soon anyways…
I also just picked up these to add underneath each tabletop for our empty water bottles or other trash. They are simple but add a nice touch and function to the nightstand.

Here is a little sneak peek at what the part of the office looks like now. Remember what it used to look like? If not – check it out here. Hopefully we can keep it this way for a while! 🙂
