I can’t believe I am writing my May Favorites post right now. They say that time flies when you are having fun and May was an awesome month! 🙂 I just looked back at my April Favorites and I am definitely still loving everything in that post too!
Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale
I wrote about the Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale early this week and I cannot seem to stop myself from adding additional items to my cart. I especially love the free shipping and wide selection of awesome products. Speaking of sales… LOFT also has 40% with code VACAY. I have been living in LOFT lately. I especially love this top and this top. My wardrobe has been transitioning into a lot of classics with a twist and I am not mad about it.
This pair of sandals was supposed to accompany me on my trip to Florida last weekend but didn’t quite make it on time. These are the most comfortable sandals I think I have ever owned. I am loving the neutral/beige sandal trend. You can pair them with almost any outfit. Also on my list are this pair and this pair.
Fresh Lip Treatment
I ran into this in the checkout line at Sephora and decided to give it a try. I love the scent – i got this one – and that it has SPF and leaves my dry lips feeling really moisturized. There are a ton of options and tints to choose from – so there is one for everybody.
I got these for my birthday – thanks Julie 🙂 – and finally got to use them on the plane to Florida. They are super cute, but still subtle, and add that hint of sparkle that every girl needs in her life. I also wish I would have had these for my trip – how fun!
I have naturally very wavy, thick hair. After being in the Florida humidity, I have been embracing my natural locks. I use this to attempt to style my hair and also want to try this one and this one. There is a good chance I will be going through a couple of bottles at the lake this summer! Read up on some more of my hair favorites here.
I cannot stop talking about the much needed vacation I just got back from. Once the travel bug hits, I just can’t get enough. I am happy to be home to Nate and Nellie but am already planning another trip for July!
Cabin and Pontoon Reno
My parents bought an old pontoon – Nate calls it the Party Pontoon – at the end of last summer. Nate and I spent time this winter fixing it up by recovering all of the seats, rewiring the entire boat and giving it an upgraded sound system. I am so excited to haul it out to the cabin this weekend and finally see their faces and get to use it!
We made it to Friday! Even though I was gone for the first couple of days of this work week, the last couple felt like forever. I am excited to for my friend Jessica’s wedding reception (I went to her Disney wedding last weekend) and then heading out to the lake for some time with my family! Have an awesome extended weekend! 🙂
