Holy smokes… Did February fly by for anyone else? I cannot believe that it is already March and I will be 27 in less than two weeks. I am doing another round-up for some of my favorite things from the month of February.
February Favorites 2017
Living Proof Hair Products
I bought the Living Proof Dry Shampoo on a whim and I am not looking back. Yes, the price point is a little steep when you can purchase Batiste for much less – but this stuff does not leave my hair feeling gross. The one thing I don’t like about some dry shampoos is that my hair feels a little like straw after I apply it. Living Proof leaves my hair feeling fresh and ready for the day. I also picked up the No Frizz Nourishing Oil and I am obsessed. I have consistently used a hair oil for the past year and this one absorbs into my hair but doesn’t leave it feeling greasy.
I have recently added four – yes four – striped tops to my wardrobe. I am a neutrals and black girl – so all of mine are cream/white and black. Stripes are a classic look but I love when brands have their own twist. Whether it’s a peplum top, has lace on the bottom or is a classic soft T – I have to have it.
A Few of my Favs:
Not going to lie… I do not have a green thumb. I love having fresh flowers around our house because they are beautiful and smell amazing, but I am not an expert at keeping them alive. Enter Faux Florals. Faux Florals have almost the same amount of beauty and last way longer. I have been loving this Peony look and anything WHITE.
SUGARFIX at Target
#TargetDoesItAgain. I am LOVING the new SUGARFIX by BaubleBar line at Target. I do subscribe to Rocksbox and get some name brand jewels every month – but committing to something I am not ABSOLUTELY in love with for $70 is not going to happen. Jewelry trends come and go so fast and these pieces are super cute and have a low price tag. Like $10-40 low people.
I have recently been real into bound notebooks. I am a total list girl and love the feeling of checking stuff off when it is done. Bound notebooks with hard covers house all of my lists in one place. I have also been keeping all of my book club notes in an awesome maroon notebook. Also love this marble one. Something about walking in with my book and a bound notebook just makes a girl feel good lol. 🙂
What were your go to product in February? I have been all about trying new stuff – hair products, apparel, etc. lately and I am loving it. Leave your must haves in the comments!
I am looking forward to a low-key weekend at home with Nate, Nellie and some super nice Minnesota weather. It is supposed to be a sunny 60 degrees on Sunday and I can’t wait to get outside!
