With the new spring season rolling in, I found myself having a really hard time narrowing down my April Favorites. Here is what made the cut:
Raw Hem Jeans
I have to admit – I was skeptical of the raw hem trend at first. I recently picked up this pair and love love love them. These are also really cute and a little darker wash. Now I just wish I could pull off wearing them to work. They are super comfortable and the hem looks great with sandals, sneaker or wedges.
With all of the statement necklaces that we see all the time, I kind of forgot how much I like simple, dainty jewelry. There is something about the simplicity that makes it look classy and can pull an entire outfit together. One of my absolute favorites is by Gorjana (similar here). I’ve been wearing mine for like three days straight.
This favorite is an oldie but a goodie. I purchased this gloss for the first time in high school and wore it daily. I have repurchased multiple times and recently found myself reaching for it again this past weekend. It is the perfect neutral/pink and adds so much to any look.
Target’s new home decor line as a whole is amazing, but this favorite is more about the farmhouse/boho pillows and neutral colors. I recently picked up this pillow and I cannot get enough. I love the details of the new line. The neutral colors go with just about anything and it was a breath of fresh air to find something in the spring that wasn’t all about florals (I do still love florals 🙂 )
When I was styling our end tables, I picked up some abstract art pieces to add to our home. We have a lot of wall space open in our house and I cannot wait to start adding more pieces. Next on my list is this set.
Burned Wood Home Accents
Nate and I recently completed my new desktop for my office. Instead of staining the tabletop our standard Minnwax Honey, we decided to use a Bernzomatic and burn it instead. To say I am obsessed in an understatement. Stay tuned for a whole post on it later this week!
There were a ton of other things that I have been loving this month that didn’t make the list. Here are a few: Loft, navy blue everything, outdoor entertaining (stay tuned for a full post on this coming soon), slip-on sandals, wedding season and selecting outdoor flowers.
I woke up this morning to snow but am looking forward to nicer weather the rest of the week in Minnesota. Nate will finally be home this weekend and I can’t wait to spend it outside!
