Where does the time go? I cannot believe I am in the high-end of my mid-twenties. 27. I was looking back at my post from last year and what a difference one year can make. I was so excited last year about a new job, a new apartment and some new adventures but I have to say 26 blew my mind. We bought a house and a puppy and I have been at my job for nearly two years.. When did I become an adult?
26 was great – Here’s to making 27 better.
Last year I set some personal goals for myself and this year I am going to do the same. Here we go!
- Take care of myself first
- Don’t sweat the small stuff
- Explore new opportunities/passions [do what you love]
Take Care of Myself First
I have been preaching this (to myself obviously 🙂 ) for the past week. You cannot take care of other people or your responsibilities unless you take care of yourself first. This year I am going to take care of myself first – so I can give 110% to others after.
Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff
This is something that has been on my “list” for a long time… Hopefully writing it down means I will actually start working on it right? Nate always tells me to go with the flow and not worry about plans, etc. Let’s hope 27 is the year that happens.
Explore New Opportunities/Passions [Do What You Love]
If you read my last post, you know that I recently “retired” from a lifelong passion. This year I am really excited to branch out and explore new opportunities and find something else that I love!
It has been a crazy first week of 27 and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings. I am guessing it is going to be the best one yet!
A couple of my favorite blog posts from 26:
Happy Friday-eve, friends! One more day until the weekend! It is supposed to be sunny and 45 on Saturday! Can’t wait! 🙂
